You would be joining an international Bank offering a variety of lending products, but also operating within corporate banking and capital markets. Given their past growth and future plans, this role comes with splendid personal and professional growth opportunities. No two days will be the same but some of the things that you will be getting yourself involved with will be:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering the Group's external financial reports and ensuring these are compliant with relevant reporting frameworks and align with industry best practice.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders across departments and providing advice and support to departments across the business on technical accounting matters.
  • Participating in project work groups to provide technical accounting insights and assess impacts on financial reporting.
  • Seeking to identify and drive implementation of improvements, new systems and processes to financial reporting related matters
  • Improving the Finance department's ongoing training programme, helping to develop and refresh knowledge and ensure the department maintains up-to-date accounting knowledge.

Experience required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 2+ years post qualification experience
  • Experience working in Financial Services, ideally banking
  • Big 4 or Top 20 professional services firm background preferred
  • Ability to start asap or 1m notice minimum
