Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a rapidly growing Professional Services organisation in Birmingham to recruit an Interim Financial Due Diligence Consultant on a 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a remote working role, however infrequent travel to the Birmingham office will be required.

My client is continuing their growth plans and have a number of acquisitions on the horizon. The Interim Financial Due Diligence Consultant will come from an accounting background with some previous experience in financial due diligence and a sound understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions. The Interim Financial Due Diligence Consultant will also have commercial awareness with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Due Diligence Consultant include:

• Preparing and building financial appraisals on prospective acquisitions
• Analysing financial documents and highlighting any discrepancies
• Building an accurate P&L account and highlighting a healthy EBITDA position
• Preparing financial due diligence and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Assisting with the review of legal documents and agency information memorandums
• Financial support through the transaction process
• Preparation of budgets upon completion of acquisitions
• Liaising with external stakeholders and advising where necessary
• Undertaking benchmarking analysis and highlighting anomalies where necessary

To be considered you will be:

• A qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Able to demonstrate some exposure to financial due diligence
• Very meticulous, with the ability to ensure accuracy at all times
• Experienced working within a highly acquisitive organisation
• Experienced working within a Corporate Environment
• A great communicator with the ability to demonstrate a commercially savvy mind
• Comfortable working remotely with the ability to travel to Birmingham 2-5 days per month
• Immediately available to start (maximum of one week notice)
