Senior Financial Officer

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team within an international real estate organization? As a Senior Financial Officer (Accounts Payable) for our client in Amsterdam, you will support the finance department and work closely with the finance team at the Singapore headquarters. You play a crucial role in the timely and correct processing of incoming invoices and related obligations, and contribute directly to the smooth processing of our financial processes.

The role:

• Correct and timely processing of incoming invoices (approval, booking and payment)
• Processing payments prepared by third-party service providers
• Processing and reconciling expense reports, travel invoices and credit card statements, including related documentation.
• Processing and coordinating payments of invoices and processing financing applications for different business departments.
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers and acting as the first point of contact for invoice processing and urgent payment requests.
• Performing basic accounting tasks, daily data entry and supporting ad-hoc projects.

Your profile:

• You have at least an MBO education in finance with the necessary years (at least 6) of relevant work experience, or a higher professional education in Finance/Economics with at least 1 year of work experience;
• Professional experience in financial operations, preferably in an international organization;
• You have a hands-on mentality, a keen eye for detail, and can communicate effectively with different stakeholders;
• You have a good command of the English language to communicate with the head office in Singapore (Dutch is a plus);
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and S/4 HANA is required; experience with VIM, Concur or Kyriba is an advantage.
• You communicate easily, are open to questions from colleagues and are happy to be of service to them with answers and solutions
• You are proactive with strong problem-solving skills

• Salary between €3000 and €3400 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience;
