Responsible for overseeing the Group's financial performance, including Financial Planning and Analysis, and supporting the CFO with M&A activities and reporting.
The ideal candidate will be a highly ambitious, organised, self-motivated, and proactive individual, trained and qualified at a top accounting firm.
Duties will include:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews, analyses, and presentations of financial performance, including monthly management accounts, KPIs, and other clinic reporting metrics.
- Take ownership of P&L reporting and effectively communicate financial performance to non-financial management and joint partners.
- Support the CFO in M&A activities, including the acquisition and integration of new sites and entities.
- Perform financial planning and analysis for internal and external stakeholders, including banks and private equity owners.
- Handle covenant and cash forecasting.
- Manage and develop a small but rapidly growing finance tea
- Oversee and continuously improve working capital management.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree or Level 9 Business Qualification
- Qualified accountant, 3+ years PQE, trained at a top accounting firm (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven analytical, influencing and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts possible solutions and corrective
- Experience of a high growth business especially in FP&A and/or M&A preferred
- Experience managing a team
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
