Marks Sattin is working in partnership with a highly successful and growing professional services business based in Bristol to recruit a Group Management Accountant in a newly created role! As they continue to drive improvements to the finance function and information supplied to the business to aid decision making, you will play a critical part of this journey whilst overseeing the management accounts production, month and year end reporting as well as the budgeting and forecasting process.

This is a newly created role which will provide the opportunity to add value to the function and business whilst shaping your future, a thirst for process improvement and efficiency will guide you well in this ambitious firm.

This role will be paying between £40k and £50k per annum with excellent benefits including hybrid working, 28 days annual leave PLUS bank holidays, private medical and a host of employee focused extras!

Group Management Accountant Role:

Prior experience within Management Accounting in a professional services environment or a first move from an audit background will give you a great foundation. The role will lead, grow and develop two Management Accountants whilst producing ever-improving management information, analysis and systems/process development.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Management reporting for key clients
• Work with finance and non-finance leaders to coordinate the quarterly reforecasting process
• Production of KPI packs including fee analysis, profitability and WIP
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Active part to play in annual audit
• Oversee production of monthly management accounts

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified by ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Professional services experience
• Thirst for process improvement and be driven to deliver high performance
• Ability to produce high quality management information
• Desire to contribute to wider areas of the finance function and indeed the business
