Start your job searchA high-growth, PE backed media advertising business based in the heart of London is currently seeking their next hire! This is a newly created Group Reporting Accountant role.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management packs and monthly group journals.
- Business partnering with various business units in collating month end reporting information as required.
- Assisting with budgets, and analysis and review of costs against budget.
- Maintenance of group consolidations and intercompany accounts processes.
- Produce technical accounting papers as required for review by the Group Financial Reporting Senior Manager
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for the Group with supporting commentary.
- Increase robustness of Group processes and building processes.
- Assist with the audit process and preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts.
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired companies from recent and future M&A activity.
- Assist with other finance projects, process improvement and automation throughout the year as required.
- Additional ad-hoc tasks, analysis, reporting and support to the wider team including Group FP&A.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ACA Qualified Accountant. Ideally you will be looking for your first move out of audit or have 1-2 years post-qualified experience working in industry. Candidates must be very proficient in Excel, with accurate and acute attention to detail and have strong numeracy and analytical skills. The role is best suited to someone who has ability and willingness to roll their sleeves up and get into the detail, with good understanding of best practice for process and controls.
