Mark Sattin are working with a high performing business to secure a new Group Treasury Manager - This is an exciting new role as the company goes through an exciting period of tranisiton. This role is working across the Group, ensuring the maintenance and efficient running of the Group's treasury requirements, supporting a strong control environment, and enabling clean audit reports.

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified, chartered accountant, with experience in leverage debt management and operational bank relationship.

As Group Treasury Manager you will be responsible for all the core areas of the Group's banking and Trust relationship, maintaining stewardship for financial assets and debt including overall leadership of the cash management, debt management and investment management functions of the organization and its affiliated entities, broken down as:

• • Directs development and revision of financial policies for capital structure, working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange interest rate risk management, and insurance risk management
  • Understands how regulatory reform will impact the business and helps ensure the business is best positioned to respond
  • Oversees and implements hedging strategies
  • Oversees interest rate risk management
  • Manages treasury function, including meeting short and long-term funding needs
  • Maintains and manages relationship with 3rd party Trusts, to ensure the efficient and timely release of cash to the business
  • Manages and negotiates banking and investment banking relationships
  • Develops and implements cash management operational strategies
  • Oversees and implements hedging strategies
  • Oversees interest rate risk management
  • Oversees and report on cash flow forecasting
  • Manages investment of excess funds
  • Weekly net debt reporting to the Exec Board
  • Reviews monthly interest journal entries and accruals
  • Oversees preparation and reporting of loan covenant compliance
  • Ensures the maintenance of corporate liquidity and financial stability. Develops and manages strategies, operations, policies and budgets relating to treasury activities
  • Active collaborator/business owner with Digital Transformation Team to streamline and improve payment practices across banking platform and back-office function
  • Actively seek out improvement opportunities to improve the overall governance framework of the Treasury function

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5+ years' experience gained in a similar environment
• Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA or similarly recognised accounting qualification
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Proven experience of taking ownership and responsibility
• Proven experience of working in a fast-paced, changing, environment excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Active participation in systems improvement/implementation programmes
