Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a cash rich, acquisitive organisation in their search for a Head of Corporate Development and Strategy to work out of their Manchester city centre office on a hybrid model.
The successful candidate will ideally be ACA qualified from a Corporate Finance or Transaction Services background although consideration will be given to outstanding candidates who are degree educated with high level of strategy management. An ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver impactful insights is essential. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and the Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy will need to be able to make key strategic decisions. Any exposure to working within the energy sector or another regulated environment would be a distinct advantage. Duties for the Head of Corporate Development and Strategy role will include:
- Lead the strategic development of the organisation
- Oversee a portfolio of strategic improvement projects
- Business development - identify and pursue new opportunities
- Drive market/competitor analysis
- Lead on mergers and acquisitions within the business
- Financial modelling
- Establish a suite of KPI's
- Build and manage a small team
Salary for the role is up to £100,000 + excellent benefits package
