Marks Sattin Executive Search is currently working with an owner founder led Retail Ecommerce business which are seeking a CFO to be part of their exciting future plans to Exit the business to Private Equity.

With an impressive track record and exciting future plans to grow the business, the CFO who will work alongside the Founders to develop and implement the ongoing strategy and grooming the business for a successful exit in the short term.

As the number one in finance, the CFO will take full responsibility for insourcing and setting up the finance function, implementing systems, processes, and controls, which can aid the company in driving them into their next phase. As CFO you'll be a valued contributor to executive-level strategy through preparation of detailed and incisive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered
• Been an autonomous CFO or Finance Director ideally in a Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale Distribution and or Manufacturing business, and having taken it through a successful sale/exit process.
• Have excellent knowledge of implementing, improving and upgrading accounting systems, processes and management information and financial reporting is a must.
• Growth focused, hands on individual with practical and demonstrable knowledge of successfully implementing financial controls.

The role would be suited to a candidate with an ambitious and can-do mind-set so to fit into the culture of the team.
