I have an urgent requirement for an Interim Accountant to join my client based in Normanton. This role will fall Inside IR35, with a daily rate of £200 - £250 per day.

This will be a crucial role in supporting the Director of Finance with the production of Management Accounts and Budgeting processes. The successful candidate will have a detailed, hands-on approach in terms of influencing the numbers and KPIs.

Within this role you will be involved with:

• To support the preparation of the annual budget; setting and compiling the budget using excel spreadsheets & the budgeting software.
• Working with key stakeholders to develop their budgets and ensure they are efficient.
• Monthly reporting duties, including reconciliations, VAT returns and payroll reconciliations.
• Supporting the finance team on the production of monthly management accounts.
• Development and delivery of financial plans.
• Monitoring trust and academy financial arrangements, ensuring the provision of value for money and researching opportunities for efficiency savings and identifying new sources of income.
• Providing other key financial information and advice to members of the SLT as and when required to enable timely and informed business decisions.
• Ensure financial probity, regularity and value for money.
• Developing and maintaining appropriate asset management systems and procurement strategies.

To progress with this role, you will be ideally a Qualified or Part Qualified finance professional with the availability to start a new role soon.
