A leading UK business are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Manager to join its Risk & Internal Audit team. This is a high impact role offering exposure to strategic audit planning, project assurance, and stakeholder engagement across a fast paced, complex business environment.

Reporting to the Senior Internal Audit Manager, you'll deliver independent assurance to the Audit Committee and Board, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and driving improvements across business operations. You'll lead audits and project reviews, influence senior stakeholders, and help shape the control environment across the group.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality audit reports and project assurance reviews

• Lead audits across key risk areas, ensuring timely and accurate output

• Support the development of operational risk registers across business units

• Drive simplification and process improvement across audit activities

• Collaborate with senior management to identify risks and opportunities

• Champion customer focus and operational excellence through audit insights

• Influence audit actions to balance cost of control with business risk

• Maintain compliance with IIA standards and internal audit methodology

You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business, building strong relationships and providing meaningful feedback to improve risk management and control processes.

About you

• Professional qualification (CIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk and control frameworks

• Excellent report writing and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Resilience and adaptability in a changing business landscape

• Experience with data analytics tools

On offer is a salary package of up to £70,000 + bonus and additional benefits.

The office requirements are 3 times a week in West Yorkshire
