The Role: Legal Entity Rationalisation Accountant

The Company: Global Renowned Insurance Group

The Location: City of London

The group has acquired over 200 entities in the last 18 months and is going through significant growth structure changes! The Legal Entity Rationalisation and Restructuring team needs to take on an accountant who has had enough of month end/stat reporting. If you are a balance sheet specialist, have worked on balance sheet substantiation or better again legal entity rationalisation, you could be a great fit. No day will be the same, no more month end or year end deadlines.

The Responsibilities:

• Assist with delivery of the Legal Entity Rationalisation project plan (to eliminate approx. 60 companies over 2 years)
• Assist with managing and developing the LER project plan
• Preparation of due diligence and entity specific dissolution plans
• Assist with preparing LER project updates to Senior Stakeholders (including escalate issues)
• Prepare and / or review due diligence to identify & manage risks, creating entity specific dissolution plans
• Work with key partners to resolve / complete all pre-dissolution actions in a timely manner
• Review legal documents required to complete pre-dissolution actions - share issuances; capital reductions; loan repayments etc

The Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with several years PQE
• Prior experience in restructuring and / or rationalising corporate structures an advantage but not essential
• Dynamic - thinks outside the box
• Work will in collaborative dynamic environment
