Marks Sattin are delighted to be supporting our client - an ambitious and reputable Corporate Finance firm in seeking a highly experienced and accomplished M&A Senior Director/Partner level candidate to join their organisation as a Partner, in playing a key role in their supporting their growth strategy within the UK.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to lead and grow your own team from the ground up. You will become responsible for delivering high-quality M&A advice and building a strong team of dealmakers, guiding them to excel in their roles and contribute to the wider success of the firm.

This is an opportunity that can be located within the Thames Valley, Greater London or Central London regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Put together and lead an entrepreneurial and winning team. In the medium to long term, teams can grow up to at least 25 team members or at least a leading position in your market.
  • Develop, launch, and run a dynamic M&A office.
  • Acquire leads and complete M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side) in your regions lower-mid or mid-market.
  • Draw up and implement ambitious business plans for your market in cooperation with the other partners and colleagues.
  • Devise and carry out commercial and marketing activities to put the business on the map in your region.

Qualifications and Profile:

  • Extensive experience in the accountancy practice or corporate finance boutique industry, preferably at a Director or Partner level.
  • Experience within the lower-mid or mid-market sector, no specific industry experience required.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mind-set with a focus on driving growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • ACA or ACCA or CFA qualification.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing and completing M&A transactions
