Our client, a £20m turnover family run business based in the Bolton area are currently searching for an ambitious Management Accountant/Trainee Finance Manager to join their team.

This is a brand new role, created as a result of a restructure, which will fast track over the next 2/3 years into a full Financial Controller position. Reporting to the on-site Finance Director your role will be to help modernise and adapt the culture to change the perception of the finance function, including the introduction of business partnering, create and design a meaningful reporting structure/KPIs and revolutionise processes with the integration of a new finance system, alongside the traditional monthly aspects of both management and financial accounting.

This is an exceptional role which will give you the full overview of an entire finance function, whilst retaining the security of being part of a wider group and give you the opportunity to make your mark within a listed business.

Therefore this role would really suit a part/newly qualified Accountant who has at least 2 years practical accounting experience and a broad understanding of both management and financial accounting principles. Project Accounting experience is desirable, along with a positive attitude to implement and drive change.
