Start your job searchA leading medical research business based in Milton Keynes is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their fast paced team.
Reporting to the Financial Consultant, you will responsible for preparing management accounts on a monthly basis including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, KPI reporting and analysis and budget and forecasting processes. You will be working closely alongside the Project Managers looking at the financials of projects including labour costs, examining project margins, ensuring sales are complete and attending regular meetings with PMs. In addition you I'll be responsible for cash flow forecasting and assisting with statutory account/ audit.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and will have strong management and financial accounts preparation experience. Ideally you will have post qualified experience within an SME business. Candidates must have a proactive and organised approach with the ability to work independently without close supervision. Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential and previous use of Sage would be beneficial.
