Management Accountant | Manchester | Up to £55k | 6 month FTC

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a leading media business to recruit for a dynamic and talented Management Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be heavily involved with month end processes, assisting with budgets and presenting to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the month-end closing process.
• Prepare and analyse Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
• Develop, monitor, and report on budgets.
• Present financial data and insights to key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with various departments to support financial planning and decision-making.

About you

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in month-end processes, P&L, balance sheet management, and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
