This is a newly created role that will provide support from a month end perspective whilst also playing a key role in driving the business forward through process improvements.

The Management Accountant will also be responsible for managing a small transactional team, leading them through large scale business change and transformation.

This role is paying between 55k-60k and will be well suited to qualified candidates with a strong operational finance background and a demonstrable track record of leading a team.

The Management Accountant role

Key responsibilities include;

• Manage, develop and lead a small Finance team through a period of change and transformation
• Develop and implement best practice finance processes, controls and reporting
• Full responsibility for producing the month end reports for local site, whilst also supporting on group level reporting
• Produce detailed cashflow management and budgeting reports
• Support the wider group with consolidation
• Support the senior leadership team, provide detailed reports and visuals where needed

About your experience

Ideally candidates will have;

• Qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent (non-studiers with the right skill set considered)
• Background in management accounting/core principles
• Keen eye for process improvement
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High proficiency in Microsoft suite, in particular Excel
