Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a leading global organisation with a household name to recruit a Management Accountant (Opex) on a full time permanent basis.

The position is a brand new position given the positivie growth and restructuring of the organisation. My client are well reknowned for their investment in their staff and promoting from within.

The Management Accountant will report to the Finance Manager - UK & Ireland and will have responsibility for Opex control and reporting and will lead two Accounts Payable team members.

The Management Accountant (Opex) will ensure monthly Opex reporting and accruals, and will also liaise with senior management with monthly cost centre reporting. The Management Accountant will also assist the financial controlling team with long and short term Opex planning.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant (Opex):

• UK and Ireland OPEX monthly reporting and Accruals
• Cost centre reporting and cost centre management
• Accurate posting of all transaction to the general ledger
• Intercompany recharges and related general ledger reconciliationsOverview of VAT returns
• Fixed asset management
• Expenses system management
• Management and training of 2 members of the accounts payable team
• Development of efficiency and productivity KPI's
• Ensuring timely payment of suppliers
• Management of payment process and cash allocation

To be considered you must:

• Have experience in management accounting
• Have excellent working knowledge of accounts payable
• Have previous management or supervisory experience
• Have a recognised accounting qualification
• Have a continuous improvement mindset
• Have strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point)
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines
