A great opportunity for an Office365 / Sharepoint specialist to join a growing professional services firm at their Central London headquarters. Having recently moved to Microsoft's 365 E5 licencing model, we are seeking to fully leverage the toolset by driving forward a program to roll out application, solutions and features, alongside a program of user adoption and training.
As part of this change program, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office 365 and SharePoint specialist to join our Solutions Development team within the IT department.
The successful applicant will work alongside our solution designers and developers, and work closely with the business relationship management team to deliver high quality consultancy and solutions to our business users and their clients. The role will also necessitate a close working relationship with the architecture team to deliver solutions in line with architectural strategy and standards. As well as technical excellence, this role will require the ability to evangelise SharePoint/Office 365 to the business, troubleshoot issues and provide advice, training and support when needed.
This role reports to the IT Business Solutions Manager.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deliver high quality SharePoint solutions appropriate to the needs of the business and following industry best practice.
* Design, configure and deliver applications and features incorporating the full range of Office 365 tools , including Power Bi, Power apps, Flow, Stream, Yammer, Teams, and forms.
* Design, build and deliver applications and features incorporating Azure functionality such as Logic apps.
* Design solutions with a view to ongoing ease of build, support, maintenance and enhancement.
* Document all solution designs and build templates.
* Work with the other members of the Solutions Development team to share knowledge and support each other as a team.
* Work with solution architects to ensure solution architectures align with enterprise architecture definitions.
* Work with the Business Relations Management team to understand business stakeholder requirements. Attend and present at business stakeholder meetings and workshops when required.
* Work with the IT change and communication function to ensure that user training and user adoption is considered for all solutions and appropriate training material is provided.
* IT Governance:
o Ensure that agreed standards and working practices are followed, including change control.
o Highlight any non-conformance with agreed standards and working practices with the solutions and development Manager
Requirements
- Extensive experience of working with SharePoint (both on premise and online) in a configuration and consultancy capacity. Ideally SharePoint online and 2016+.
* Experience of designing and building features using the Office 365 toolset.
* Experience of forms and workflow tools would be an advantage e.g Nintex, Intapp.
* Experience of using ShareGate for migrations would be an advantage.
* Experience of Power BI would be an advantage.
* Ability to communicate to executives, business domain stakeholders and technical staff alike.
