The role of the PMO Project manager is to support the development and execution of the company's business plans. The role will involve liaising across all functions and working closely with business leads in the planning and execution of their plans. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager to support the delivery of a range of project types, complex business initiatives and business change programmes. It's a hands on role that will require active support and participation in the execution process
Duties will include:
- Support the Head of Business Planning in the development, delivery, and tracking of business plans and projects.
- Support business leads and key stakeholders to develop business plans and projects and track the execution of plans and projects against the business targets set.
- Assist the execution of key business initiatives through coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Data analysis and metrics to identify insights, trends and interpret implications.
- Play a proactive role in supporting the implementation of business change initiatives and processes to continuously improve existing processes and ways of working.
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 5-7 years' experience ideally within and supporting a PMO function responsible for delivering key business initiatives and involved in implementing business change.
- Direct experience in managing projects with expert knowledge of project management structures and tools to support the planning and delivery of projects and change management programmes.
- Proven track record of working with cross functional stakeholders in project teams and to agreed timelines.
- Project management certified: Industry or recognised in house methodology.
- Strong competence in Microsoft office suite; specifically, powerpoint and excel.
- Six Sigma and process improvement experience is a plus.
