Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a logistics business based in Normanton for the role of Purchase Ledger clerk.
Working in their small finance team, they are looking for an ambitious candidate looking to start AAT.
This is a full-time role, with hybrid working and paying up to £24,000!
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Monitoring accounts payable inbox and processing purchase invoices received
- Matching up invoices to purchase orders on D365 system and allocating to relevant people for approval
- Posting invoices on D365 system
- Ensuring that invoices are cleared for payment in a timely manner
- Maintaining organised filing system and checking invoices for FCPA compliance
- Checking supplier statements against ledgers
- Dealing with supplier queries such as payment requests
- Invoice sales on the D365 system via EDI
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of invoicing process through to confirming receipt of complete invoices using retail link system.
- Match payment remittances. Investigate, analyse and resolve payment discrepancies
- Invoicing, payment, claims and query resolution
- Regular reporting and analysis of Aged Debt, demonstrating recovery actions.
- Accurate sales analysis reporting on daily, weekly and monthly basis
