Senior Asset Manager - Fund Manager - Dublin



As Investment into the Sustainable Energy market continues to gain further traction in Ireland the opportunities to develop your career in this sector are very much growing.



A global client of ours, a sustainability focused fund manager with offices here in Dublin is keen to secure the services of an experienced Senior Asset Manager to manage a number of their local renewable energy assets as they continue to grow their fund and portfolio here in Ireland.



Highlights of the role:

  • Responsible for operational, technical, financial, and administrative oversight of a pre-existing late-stage construction (and soon to be operational) power generation project in Dublin.
  • Oversee and administer the project's key contractor and contract performance (contractor, power offtake agreements, and route-to-market service providers) in accordance with contracts to ensure requirements are met from operational, regulatory, and financial results perspective.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance based on key performance indicators and available data to achieve project business case objectives and optimize technical and operational performance.
  • Development and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports regarding operational, technical, and financial performance from the fund projects as well as status and progress on ESG objectives and metrics, during late-stage development, construction, commissioning, and operations of power generation and energy efficiency projects.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of target investments, including business objectives, fundamental strategies, key performance indicators, services provided, customers supported, and issues and opportunities associated with ongoing operations, value creation, and growth
  • Ensure good governance and that the fund businesses comply with applicable statutory, contractual, and corporate regulations and policies.
  • Conduct project -specific and portfolio-wide analysis, taking a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to find and explain value initiatives across the portfolio, and then to drive the implementation of these initiatives to an agreed plan.
  • As assigned, be the primary assigned asset manager responsible for one or more individual fund projects.

As you will see from the above this is an exceptional opportunity in the Irish market giving scope to the incumbent as well working with a key global fund manager in their strategic development of Sustainable Energy assets.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong background across Fund and or Asset management within the broader energy and infrastructure market having gained at least 15 years experiecne coming from an Asset Management background with a Level 9 Masters academic profile within Engineering or a related field.
