Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with an innovative business based in Guildford. They are looking for a talented Senior Payroll Manager to their team. This is a permanent, full time position and hybrid working is already being supported in the workplace. This company has a fantastic culture and the directors will support every employee to achieve their career objectives.

You will be welcomed from day one and trusted to manage a portfolio as well as leading the payroll team. If you are someone who is personable and wants a company that can offer great development and growth opportunities, this is the job for you! Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Managing your own client payroll portfolio
  • Liaising with clients to help them with payroll issues
  • Building and developing your own client relationships
  • Managing 10 direct reports and setting them up for success

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in managing a payroll team of a similar size
  • Previous experience in looking after multiple payroll portfolios
  • A payroll qualification
  • Accountability and strong managerial skills
