Solution Architect

A unique and exciting Financial Services scale-up organisation based in Leeds is looking to hire a Solution Architect to lead the technical architecture and design across all information systems.

This is a pivotal role in the firm's technological evolution, and as such you will chair their Technical Design Authority, assisting this multi-disciplinary group to reach agreement on solution design decisions.

Please note that as Solution Architect, you will be required to work in the Leeds office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a centralised architectural service providing solution expertise to all business areas.
  • Define, develop, and maintain solution architecture that delivers robust and supportable systems across the business.
  • Define and manage integration approaches across the organisation's own platform, information assets and third-party applications.
  • Maintain application and integration architecture in the organisation's preferred architectural software.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record as a Solution Architect.
  • A qualification in an architectural framework (e.g. TOGAF, Archimate).
  • Experience of working within a scale-up organisation
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the business processes associated with financial services organisations would be useful
  • Understanding of broader Change Management principles, practices, and methodologies.
