Tax Assistant - Sheffield/ Hybrid - £25,000 - £28,000 DOE with Benefits

Marks Sattin, collaborating with a global Law Firm looking to expand their Tax Team due to sustainable growth within the business. The Tax Team, comprised of 20 talented individuals across the UK, seeks an enthusiastic and adaptable individual eager to learn and contribute. Perfect opportunity for a Graduate or an individual starting out in their Tax Career.

This role offers hybrid working and flexibility.

The Role:

This is a chance to join a dynamic culture for a driven individual who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team, while having a strong client service orientation.

Day to Day:

  • Prepare partner tax returns
  • Dealing with overpayment relief claims
  • Looking at tax reserve reconciliations
  • Carrying out tax reserve interest calculations & taxable profit modelling calculations
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ad hoc requests

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background in Finance, Data or Maths
  • Experience working as part of a team in a fast paced environments.
  • Comfortable using Excel, with the capacity to use functions, features and formulas to organise and analyse data.
