Exciting Tax Manager role with a well-renowned consumer brand with a global footprint. This is a 12-month contract role based in Central London.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Utilising your knowledge of tax and accounting sytems and processes related to invoice life-cycle
• Ability to translate complex VAT regulations into practical and clear requirements for both tax and non-tax professionals
• Assist with the delivery of planning, real time coordination, and communication of projects related to various aspects of invoice processing.
• Identify and define risks, opportunities, and strategy using your expertise and judgement to support decisions needed to implement the projects
• Collaborate with tax, financial, business and tech partner teams. This includes drafting the appropriate level of documentation to support analyses performed, decisions made and conclusions reached.
• Effectively communicate with and influence partner teams.
• Support engagements with external advisors.

The successful candidate:

• 5+ years VAT experience (Big 4 or professional services or in-house tax experience firm highly regarded)
• Relevant professional accounting or tax qualification
• International VAT experience in both practice and industry
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder engagment skills across multiple departments
• Available immediately or at short notice
