This role would suit a recent graduate, or someone with a small amount of finance experience.
Really collaborative, friendly and sociable team, they offer strong mentorship and clear lines to progress.
More importantly - they're priority is to bring on down to earth people who enjoy working together, a yearly highlight is their 4day company offsite, this year was Valencia and last year they went to Ibiza!
Responsibilities of Trainee Accountant:
- Responsibility for managing and updating loan book databases
- Preparing a variety of institutional investor reports
- Accounts Receivable;
- Notifying relevant departments of funds received
- Reconciling amounts received to expected amounts within the management accounts
- Updating relevant databases
- Data analysis and summaries
- Bank reconciliation to Xero
- Management of journal entries including adjusting for late receipts, prepayments and accruals
Requirements:
- Background in accounting and finance preferred
- AAT studier, or univerisity graduate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop a career in accounting/finance
- Happy to work 5 days a week in the office (casual Fridays)
