A leading alternative finance lender is looking for an aspiring accountant to join their London team.

This role would suit a recent graduate, or someone with a small amount of finance experience.

Responsibilities of Trainee Accountant:

• Responsibility for managing and updating loan book databases
• Preparing a variety of institutional investor reports
• Accounts Receivable;
  • Notifying relevant departments of funds received
  • Reconciling amounts received to expected amounts within the management accounts
  • Updating relevant databases
  • Data analysis and summaries
• Bank reconciliation to Xero
• Management of journal entries including adjusting for late receipts, prepayments and accruals

Requirements:

• Background in accounting and finance preferred
• AAT studier, or univerisity graduate
• Excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in accounting/finance
• Happy to work 5 days a week in the office (casual Fridays)
