We have a brand new role for an Assitant treasury Manager to join this huge household Financial Services organisation in West Yorkshire

The role sits in the Treasury Reporting and Analytics team in their corporate team in Leeds. You will be responsible for modelling the divisional balance sheet and calculate Net Interest Income for internal and regulatory stress tests

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Assistant Manager to work closely with the broader Treasury team in delivering best-in-class modelling and insight around stress-testing performance, where results will be distributed to leaders across the group

Duties:

  • Delivery of modelling and reporting relating to the Divisions' balance sheet with associated Net Interest Income for the stress test
  • Support with the provision of management information and analysis to aid the understanding and decision-making associated with stress testing
  • Help explain the key drivers behind balance sheet and income movements in stress-testing to the Finance and Risk partners
  • Suggest and support continuous improvement of the models/applications used for stress testing juggling priorities between regulatory change and operational improvement
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Risk and Finance partners to support the delivery of quality and timely reporting in stress tests
  • Implementing robust processes to support team objectives including reporting, controls and management information
  • Act with attention to detail and using control frameworks to minimise and flag operational risks
  • Challenge the status quo around existing process and identify operational improvements to create time for other value-adding work

The ideal candidate will be experienced in modelling large datasets as well as possessing an understanding of a Bank's balance sheets. You will also have worked to strict deadlines and be analytical and switched on.
Strong Excel skills are also required to improve models and you will be able to suggest improvements to the function and knowledge of QRM is also beneficial
