The successful candidate will be a 'hands on' and "can do" qualified accountant with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Experience working in a commercial environment in an international business with prior exposure to SOX, US GAAP reporting, group reporting and tax issues. You will have operated at a similar level in a complex international environment with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful change projects and efficiency improvements.

As UK finance and business operations continue to consolidate and streamline, the position calls for a highly talented professional with a great eye for detail, a strong analytical mind-set, and a focus on quality, efficiency, and change management. Good working relationships with senior stakeholders across the entire organisation are necessary for this position.
What you'll do
- Management of financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax, and auditing for organisations in the UK region.
- Creating UK tax schedules and answering tax-related questions.
- The creation of financial statements for entities and cooperation with auditors in the timely submission of the accounts.
- Reviewing the monthly accounting reconciliation and closing the books on time
- Review and validation of submissions needed for the consolidation of Group Accounts, including but not limited to:
- Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and monitoring of monthly reporting systems journals.
- Create operational procedures and processes that adhere to audit requirements and boost productivity.
- Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting processes (R2R).
- Ensures that accounting data and revenue are correctly compiled, examined, and reported.
- Take part in special projects, tax audits, and yearly accounting.
- Collaborate with outside consultants or auditors to supply the necessary data and guarantee accurate recordkeeping for historical purposes.
- Appoint, train, and assess staff to guarantee the role is carried out effectively.
