Accounts Assistant | Wythenshawe | 12 month Contract | Office Based | £30,000

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Manager with various accounting activities and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense requests, and supplier payment
  • Maintain cash books and reconcile company accounts
  • Manage purchase and sales ledgers
  • Assist with credit control and chase late payments
  • Prepare and raise sales invoices
  • Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
  • Perform basic administration tasks
  • Update and maintain procedural documentation
  • Assist with documentation management for importation suppliers
  • Monthly payroll processing



Requirements:

  • Preferably enrolled in CIMA or ACCA studies, or completed AAT
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Flexibility, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
  • Confident telephone manner and problem-solving skill
  • Experience with Sage 200 is preferable
  • Manufacturing and Engineering industry experience
