Accounts Assistant | Wythenshawe | 12 month Contract | Office Based | £30,000
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Manager with various accounting activities and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, expense requests, and supplier payment
- Maintain cash books and reconcile company accounts
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers
- Assist with credit control and chase late payments
- Prepare and raise sales invoices
- Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
- Perform basic administration tasks
- Update and maintain procedural documentation
- Assist with documentation management for importation suppliers
- Monthly payroll processing
Requirements:
- Preferably enrolled in CIMA or ACCA studies, or completed AAT
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Confident telephone manner and problem-solving skill
- Experience with Sage 200 is preferable
- Manufacturing and Engineering industry experience
