I'm currently engaged with a health & wellness business based in Central London to recruit an AP Manager, on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Private Equity backed business during an ambitious and successful growth stage.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading Accounts Payable team and implementing process improvement and optimisations. Streamlining transactional processes that will aid this fast-paced business in their successful scale up. Duties will include:

• Led the Accounts Payable team
• Day to day people management
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead on business projects
• Help coach and support escalated queries from the team to resolve
• KPI analysis
• Review processes and recommend improvements / opportunities to streamline/lead change initiatives
• Liaise with external suppliers to resolve queries
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders ensuing excellent relationships are built and maintained
• Assist with half year & year-end audit requirements
• Ensure adherence to purchase ledger policy and controls and all company policies

The successful candidate will have proven track record in a similar finance role, desirably studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA and keen to develop with the business and strong Excel skills are a must. You will be able to lead a team effectively, be innovative, switched on and a proactive self-starter.
