Start your job searchMy client is well established and respected Private Equity business based in London. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team ASAP on a temp to perm basis.
Main duties would include but are not limited to:
- Invoice scanning, capturing, coding and routing
- Co-ordinating and managing invoice approval
- Setting up and maintenance of supplier accounts in NetSuite
- Review and reconciliation of supplier statement and aged creditors report
- Dealing with invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
- Reconciliation and maintenance of company credit cards
- Bank payment posting for suppliers, including direct debit postings and allocations
- Preparation of various journal entries for expenses
- Preparation of weekly payment run and periodic bank reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
This is a fast paced and high-volume team so you would ideally have worked in a similar environment within a Private Equity or Financial Services business. Any experience with NetSuite would also be a distinct advantage.
In return, you would be able to work flexibly with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. You would also be eligible for the onsite gym, catered breakfast and lunch and 9% pension from the first day with the business.
