Accounts Receivable Supervisor | Stoke-on-Trent - Office Based | 25k-30k | 6 month contract (potential to go permanent)

Are you a skilled and motivated accounting professional looking for an exciting leadership role? I have an outstanding opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join a growing team on an interim basis.

As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our accounts receivable department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Manage and monitor customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time and addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and collections, to resolve customer inquiries and facilitate effective communication.
• Develop and implement efficient accounts receivable processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve cash flow management.
• Prepare regular reports and analysis on accounts receivable performance, highlighting key metrics and trends to support decision-making and strategy development.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the accounts receivable team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or related roles, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including revenue recognition and credit management.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
