Award winning finance lender are looking for an experienced AP accountant to join their London team in the city.

The business is full of genuine down to earth people, who enjoy working together - they even do a 4day off-site every year, to places such as Valencia and Ibiza!

This role would suit someone looking for long-term job security and shared ownership of the AP function, to work alongside one other AP accountant.

This role is 5 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • making single payments to suppliers
  • making batch payments to suppliers
  • uploading invoices to the accounting platform, Xero

Cost Centre Management (examples include)

  • managing the cost centre spreadsheet databases for the following cost centres:
  • solicitor's legal fees
  • litigation fees
  • daily transfers of institutional investors funds
  • procuration fees

Data Entry

  • into the company's loan book databases
  • into institutional investors reports

Staff expenses

  • paying out staff expenses once approved
  • liaising with staff and reconciling credit card expenses

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years in Accounts Payable
  • excellent attention to detail
  • good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • ability to work independently
  • reliable and trustworthy
  • highly organised
