I am currently working with one of the UK's largest healthcare manufacturers that are on the lookout for an AR & AP Associate.
Where you fit in?
You'll be joining a developing fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.
Your role:
- Responsible for Credit Management - New Accounts, Credit Limits, Insurance and Account reviews
- Responsibility for reviewing both the account and the associated credit limit decision
- Ownership of Cash Application to include non-allocations and contras
- Processing of Cheque applications including managing the miscellaneous accounts
- Responsibility of weekly payment runs
- Ownership and processing of Customer refunds
- Support with off-shore partners on queries relating to invoices, statements and related issues that will be processed off-shore
- Resolve customer queries / complaints relating to AR process
- Supporting the year-end audit process, statutory accounts preparation and deliverables
- Ongoing review of current processes to ensure effective processes and working practices
- Ad hoc support and duties for other members of the Finance team to ensure team deliverables are met
- Be a key member of the Finance team involved in executing the Vision of the department
What you need?
You'll need to be the kind of person that is able to take instruction for a project and work independently and proactively to achieve the required outcomes. Organisation with exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to keep to tight deadlines is a must. Ideally you will have experience with SAP or similar business and sales reporting systems. AAT experience is desirable, however is not essential.
