Marks Sattin is proud to be working with a rapidly growing business (c£80m Revenue) business based in Reading (Hybrid - 2/3 days office based) who are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant on a Maternity cover.

Job Description/Role

This Assistant Accountant role will involve:

  • Monthly management accounts production and review
  • Preparation of accruals, prepayments, journals and cost analysis
  • Presentation of management accounts to senior finance
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT returns preparation and submission

Profile

To be successful the ideal candidate will:

  • Be part qualified or studying towards an Accounting qualification/ QBE potentially considered
  • Proficient in Excel and Sage (desirable)

Salary and benefits:
