Associate Director - M&A - Dublin

Unique M&A Associate Director position with a leading Financial Services firm based in Dublin. As the firm continues to see significant growth within their pipeline of Mergers & Acquisitions activity, there now exists a fantastic opportunity to grow with the firm but also work on existing and cutting edge deals within the Investment Banking M&A space.

  • Develop pitch materials and offering memoranda for M&A & Capital Market transactions, private financings, and other advisory projects.
  • Act as the "Go To" for Analysts in relation to M&A and Financial Model coaching and queries.
  • Take a leading role in transaction execution, including due diligence, serving as a primary point of contact for clients/counterparties, and participating in the negotiation of transaction agreements.
  • Direct and manage a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including DCF, LBO, comparable transaction, and accretion/dilution analysis.
  • Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and other economic information.
  • Work directly with Directors in all facets of business, including idea generation, marketing, transaction evaluation, and transaction processing.
  • Ensure the quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail.
  • Mentor and develop interns, analysts and executives at the firm.
  • Utilise relationships developed while at the firm to source new business opportunities from both existing and target clients.


You will have gained at least 10 plus years experience within M&A and or Corporate Finance and have strong deal flow experience covering M&A Transactions from start to finish. A level 9 Masters Qualification and or ACA/ACCA/CFA qualification is desirable along with excellent Financial Modelling skills.
