Marks Sattin are currently working with a global organisation to assist in the recruitment of a Business Analyst.

Responsibilities;

  • Plan, communicate and lead on reporting requirement gathering & feedback workshops with internal senior stakeholders
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders to create detailed business analysis, outline problems and present opportunities and solutions
  • Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
  • Produce business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles in line with organisational standards
  • Evaluate design options making sure that requirements map to the business need, are approved by all the appropriate stakeholders and that they meet with relevant quality standards
  • Support development teams in making recommended changes, including the resolution of any potential risks & issues
  • Continually evaluate the business analysis processes, making changes and improvements where required, working closely with the team to communicate and implement improvements
  • Assist with wider business change activities including engagement, training & communications
  • Support the testing of new reporting solutions, following the organisational standard, to ensure outputs align with deliverables

Skills;

  • A number of years of Business Analyst experience in a large corporation and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with SME's, process owners, and key stakeholder across international.
  • Strong presentation skills, either face-to-face or online within various contexts and to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to work cross-functionally & across multiple projects - understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • An understanding of financial information and accounting is desirable but not essential
  • High level understanding of project delivery and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve with a structured and logical approach
  • Great team working skills and a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to get into detail as required to understand complex test/defects issues
  • Experience of working with offshore delivery centres
