Start your job searchMarks Sattin Executive Search is seeking a CFO to join an exciting PE Backed Retail and Wholesale Distribution business based in the South East England. Working alongside the CEO and a PE house, this is a great opportunity to lead the execution of a sale process in the not too distant future.
The CFO responsibilities will include supporting the CEO and the leadership team and taking responsibility for the financial function, improving and setting up systems, processes and controls. Also, you'll be reporting to the private equity team and presenting to investors on a regular basis as well as being a key member of the board. As financial number one you'll lead the business to a successful exit for shareholders.
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered.
- Experience as a CFO in a PE Backed business in Retail, Wholesale, Distribution and or related sectors, ideally experience of delivering successful exit.
- Be a capable communicator, and able to present to investors and shareholders.
- Have a keen eye for detail and considerable technical and commercial awareness.
- A proactive, energetic, pragmatic, hardworking individual with strong people and relationship skills.
