Working for this exciting fast paced Fintech business who are looking for a Chief Banking Officer who will be assisting them with rapid growth and lead their payment operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the CEO/COO to develop and accomplish goals and strategic plans established by the Board of Directors and company executives.
  • Contributes to the development of business unit strategy by providing a view on potential improvement for products or services and an assessment of the existing situation and anticipated changes in the external environment.
  • Proactively managing and preparing EMI and other banking license applications across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Be the focal point for planning requirements in connection with future regulatory licenses across the globe. You will work with the CEO/COO taking responsibility for identifying, sourcing, partly drafting, and maintaining banking licensees in multiple jurisdictions. This position is cross-functional and will require an operator capable of working closely with multiple departments.
  • Ensuring there are strong relationships with local regulators.
  • Proactively exploring banking partners, making connections, and securing relationships where necessary.
  • Preparing and updating policies to ensure the remain relevant and compliant with regulators and banking partners.

What you will need:

  • Recent Senior Banking Officer experience (preferably from a payment institution) and experience licensing applications.
  • Experience in working on payment authorization applications or related applications that have been granted by applicable regulators in the UK, EEA and/or US
    Excellent knowledge of UK/EEA and/or US banking regulation.
  • Preferably you have a background in consulting, legal and ex-regulatory.
  • Great project management skills
  • Excellent writing skills (business and project reports), good presenter & communicator
  • Ability to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent team player with ability to work closely with others to deliver results.
  • Demonstrate an ability to think and reason logically.
