Start your job searchA premium, global consumer goods business based in West London is currently seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their fast-paced team.
In this role you will be responsible for providing strategic business partnering insights and decision-making support to the commercial functions. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare insightful reporting of performance, including Customer profitability and KPI reporting by account.
- Lead monthly account reviews to ensure all risks and reserves in the Gross to Net and Gross Profit % have been identified.
- Provide insight and development of the accounts - drawing insight from data, helping the account teams understand the drivers of performance.
- Forecasting process to understand sales and margin variances and support the team in modelling the future business performance
- Business and scenario planning tool to provide key information to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Assist in providing annual net revenue and gross margin on the accounts with clear understanding of movements and risks.
- Attend Business Planning reviews for the accounts to provide key customer assumptions to FP&A as part of TM1 financialization inputs.
- Lead reviews of net revenue and gross margin with Sales and Finance Manager.
- Indirect Leadership of Junior Commercial Analysts/Assistants overseeing Pricing, Promotions and Trade Term and analysis.
- Ensure balance sheets and accruals are accurately maintained highlighting and risks to the business.
- Highlight and implement improvements that could be made to the way we work, to reduce complexity, time spent to deliver outputs, or improve outputs
- Be the finance lead or representative for relevant business projects as required.
- Ad-hoc reporting to support commercial finance, account teams and wider the wider business.
The ideal candidate will be Qualified/ Finalist level (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and will have experience working as a business partner in a Commercial Finance function. Candidates must possess a broad knowledge of Finance techniques and practices, with good working knowledge of Excel and experience of accounting systems such as SAP, TPM, Cognos and TM1 or similar. You will have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, working with stakeholders at all levels and across different divisions. This is a commercial role, with the opportunity to drive results and embrace change.
This role is based in West London, and has a hybrid working arrangement.
