Are you currently a Company Secretary looking for a new challenge???
Did you fancy working in the Investment Management space???
Do you want to work for a company that cares about the environment???

If the answer to these three questions is yes, then I have the role for you!!

I am currently working with an international specialist investment manager that is dedicated to the renewable energy infrastructure sector. They use renewable energy technology to provide risk adverse returns to their investors, whilst also ensuring they have a positive affect on the environment.

The client has advised me that they are looking to hire a Company Secretary with experience in working in the Investment Management space and able to work well in a large team. The role will be based in their London office and will be a hybrid working role.

You are:

  • ICSA qualified or part-qualified
  • Well-equipped in drafting minutes of meetings
  • Experienced in working in the Investment Management space
  • Able to communicate and work professionally with senior stakeholders and board members in the business
  • Extremely organised and has managed people in the past
  • Able to work independently, solve problems and work to tight deadlines

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Providing secretarial support to Board members and other members of the company. This will include planning meetings, writing the minutes, attending board meetings and ensuring matters arising are actioned
  • Giving advice on relevant statutory and regulatory governance requirements and ensuring their compliance
  • Working closely with other Company Secretaries to ensure all tasks are organised
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and regulations and taking all appropriate action
  • Ensuring that there is clear communication between the board and its committees and between senior management and non-executive directors
  • Maintaining great shareholder relations and ensuring the board is well-informed on shareholders' views
  • Assisting with on boarding of new clients and understanding the complex internal structure
  • Draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns with Companies House
