Start your job searchI'm working exclusively with a global luxury media company to recruit a Credit Controller to their New York Office on a permanent basis. Following recent investment, the company is going through a period of accelerated growth and are keen to expand the finance team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller with well-rounded finance knowledge looking for a new and exciting challenge!
The role will be responsible for leading the credit control function and acting as the main point of contact for finance in the US.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Business partnering with Key Account Directors to manage and reduce aged debt
- Working closely with Senior Stakeholders to implement and drive process improvement
- Acting as a key point of contact in Finance for the US operation
- Engaging with a huge scope of clients to negotiate and successfully collect payment for overdue invoices
- Ensuring cash posting and allocation is accurate
- Maintaining aged debt records and ensuring they are up to date at all times
- Ad hoc expense processing
- Ad hoc revenue reporting and analysis
The successful candidate will have 2+ years relevant finance experience, be driven, switched on and a very strong communicator. Previous experience working with Excel, in a fast-paced business with a large volume of clients is required. SAP experience is highly desirable.
