This multi million dollar local business group based in Dubai are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to spearhead the credit function across the group. Ideally you will come from a banking & commercial mix background with great emphasis on risk. The role will feature the right candidate implementing sound policies & procedures based on best practices in the industry.



Key result areas:

- Provide quality service to Group entities by undertaking risk assessment of various types of credit proposals.

- Develop tools for Credit Risk analysis , based on historical data , financial statements and industries specifications.

- Recommend optimal Credit Terms to be offered by Group Companies to their Customers.

- Perform periodic reviews of existing clients Prepare relevant reports on the Credit Risk exposure to business unit and senior management.

- Draft group policies and procedures. for credit evaluation, approval authorities, collection and exposure control for the group.

- Assist business units to initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are bought to a satisfactory conclusions.



Essential Skills: Skills, Experience, & Knowledge:

- An experienced credit manager with around ten years experience in a large Group of Companies or reputable financial institution with a minimum of 4 years in a senior credit management position.

- Sound knowledge of Credit Risk management.

- Significant experience in developing/ implementing Credit management tools.

- Qualification such as CCA, FRM,CA, CFA with MBA in Finance is preferred

- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with well developed coaching skills
