Marks Sattin are currently representing a rapidly growing Wealth Management organisation based in Leeds Centre for the role of Credit Manager! Due to rapid growth, a role has arisen for an experienced manager to take responsibility of our Operational Finance and Credit Control.

The role will involve setting up new processes with the companies banking partners and working cross-departmentally to build and run an effective credit management team.

This team will be responsible for income, invoicing, debtors, statements and treasury management.

In return, the organisation will pay up to £40,000 DOE for an experienced Credit Manager. The company currently work hybrid, with the team only going into the office for 1 day a week. They also work a 35-hour week at the business. Employees are also enrolled onto an equity share scheme!

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Credit control, statements and invoicing
• Work cross-departmentally to manage debtors
• Income reconciliations and forecasting
• Banking and treasury governance and arrangements
• Seeking to improve the way we use our systems and processes

The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience of managing and developing a team
• Experience of credit control / accounts receivable and treasury / banking
• Great MS Excel and general IT skills, experience of Xero would be a bonus
• At least AAT level 4 or equivalent, or to be PQ under a recognised qualification
• A desire to improve processes, drive change and possess a positive attitude
