A great opportunity to join a brilliant business who are recruiting for a Finance & Prudential Internal Audit Manager to join the team.

You will play a key role in defining and delivering effective audits in the prudential risk and finance areas. With brilliant exposure across the business and key stakeholder ownership, you will work extensively across the Finance and Risk divisions to help shape the delivery of our audits.

With a nice blend of work life balance, you will be working in a hybrid working pattern - coming to the office once/twice a week as required. The culture is very much built on trust, trusting you to recognise when you need to be in help drive audits across the group.

The role will include:

  • Working autonomously to deliver financial and prudential risk reviews
  • Delivering audit assignments from initial planning, through to final report, including assessing actions taken by management addressing any areas of material risk
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders, particularly in the Group Finance and Group Risk areas
  • You will help shape the Internal Audit department through process improvement to create a high performing function.
  • Influencing key stakeholders to ensure robust, cost-effective controls and a strong control environment across the Finance division.
  • You will use existing finance experience to assess relevant controls and processes.


Experience:
Ideally you will have a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) and have strong finance control / Financial Audit experience. With no previous experience necessary in the prudential space, this is an excellent development role to allow someone to evolve into this role.

With an expansive view of the business in this service line, you will bring in factors across the macro environment to help reviews as well as ensure customer journey is at the heart of everything you do.
