I am working with a fast growing media agency who are looking to add a Finance Assistant to their team.

The role will be responsible for mainly AP duties which include but are not limited to:

  • Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
  • Prepare balance sheets
  • Track and reconcile bank statements
  • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records
  • Maintain relations with all vendors
  • Match vendor invoices to existing purchase orders (sbj. to software implementation)
  • Handle vendor calls and provide timely and accurate response to all A/P inquiries (vendor or internal)
  • Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Responsible for the proper scheduling and processing of unique and recurring payments
  • Check invoice approvals and prepare batches for input into our systems
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Assist in the payment processing runs and monthly system close processes
  • Perform vendor / client account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Provide administrative support during budget preparation
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits

The successful candidate will have previous experience using SAP software and have 1-2 years experience working in a finance function. You will be interested in working in the media industry and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You will be keen to do ACCA/CIMA or already studying the qualification.
