A market leading manufacturer in Sherburn in Elmet are looking for a Finance business partner to join them on a permanent basis.

This role is suited to someone with a management accounts, commercial or finance business partnering background and will provide a clear progression route to Manager

Duties:

  • Working with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to assist with decision making;
  • Maintaining accurate and meaningful forecasts for all Britain Board and Technical cost centres (Excluding divisional).
  • Preparing month end accruals based on information from cost centre holders, forecasts, invoices parked in SoftCo and open PO's in SAP.
  • Having an active role in preparing overhead information for budget holders to aid with annual budget setting. Answering any queries and then pulling these together to load into the overall budgets within a set deadline.
  • Preparing and posting any accruals in relation to exceptional costs seen below the line in the P&L.
  • Building relationships with budget holders and communicating openly on business issues that can be supported with financial information;
  • Holding regular meetings with key stakeholders to review financial information;
  • Develop financial reports that support the business;
  • Challenge key stakeholders on ways of working, with the aim of improving margins and efficiencies;
  • Sales reporting including weekly sales & order intake, COPA analysis, and completing the monthly Sales & Cost of Sales reconciliation and ensuring differences are investigated;
  • KIUK & Technical Weekly and monthly sales submissions in Comshare.
  • Month-end Comshare submissions to include receivables analysis
  • Assess areas of potential cost savings, working with budget holders, FC, FD and ISCM
  • Monthly GRNI clearing in conjunction with AP and Purchasing
  • Identifying and taking responsibility of areas which could be leaner in order to give more time to more value added activities.
  • Vendor checking and confirming to ensure vendors and payment details have been set up correctly and with the correct evidence.
  • Performing checks and approving payment runs.
  • Liaising with internal and external audit to supply backing for journal postings.

This role is open to newly qualified and part-qualified candidates, you will receive a market leading bonus alongside hybrid working and study support (if needed)

Salary: Up to £50,000
