Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a reputable international business who are looking to recruit a Finance Director into their Harrogate office.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading required analysis of the financial performance of the existing and future UK activities and proposing possible solutions to maintain and increase our profitability
• Developing and implementing performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
• Leading the deployment of defined strategy, policies, processes and accounting and financial / internal controls
• Ensuring the accurate financial reporting of the Group, to meet the Group policies & procedures and ensure submission within the prescribed timetable
• Delivering and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting to the Executive Officers
• Ensuring that effective financial management is achieved through efficient resource utilisation and the attainment of budgets and business objectives
• Managing the financial, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for the UK; ensure the external financial reporting complies with accounting standards and other regulatory requirements
• Supervising and executing financial and budgetary planning exercises
• Managing the capital request and budgeting processes
• Assisting in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives including financial and tax strategies
• Assisting in the negotiation of our key contracts

This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Finance Director with experience working in an international organisation being highly advantageous.
