A fast-growing research, strategy and communications firm based in the City of London is currently recruiting a Finance Manager to join their finance function.

Working closely with and reporting in the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the financial management across the UK, Brussels and Berlin entities. Duties will include implementing financial controls and reconciliations, managing a Finance Assistant and reviewing their work which includes fixed assets, accounts payable, raising sales invoices and bank reconciliations. In addition you will supervise the UK Payroll Contractor and oversee this process. You will also be responsible for ongoing process improvement and automation, VAT returns and supporting the Finance Director with additional ad-hoc duties, reporting and analysis. As the business continues to grow, this role will likely develop in to a more commercial finance position.

This role will be best suited to a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) and must have worked in industry. Ideally you will have experience working with SAGE accounting software and have good working knowledge of UK payroll. Candidates should have previous experience managing or supervising junior staff members within the team.
